  • We really didn't know that there were hippie exploitation films, but that is what we have in "Psych-Out," where we have a hippie band that assists a deaf woman find her brother. The band was fronted by Stoney, who was played by Jack Nicholson in one of his first roles, and the plot is secondary to the drug-induced hippie lifestyle of Stoney's band. Even after watching the film, we can't recall whether the hot deaf chick met up with his brother, but we do know Nicholson bed her in the flick.

He probably slept with the actress off the set too.

We give extra points in this film for an actual appearance by the Strawberry Alarm Clock.
