From Mel Brooks' whimsical farce, The Producers, we have a hippie/beatnik named Lorenzo St. DuBois (L.S.D.) who won the part of Adolf Hitler in an upcoming play about Adolf called "Springtime for Hitler." The play was designed to be awful so that it would lose money, but somehow it is believed to be satire, and it launched the career of St. DuBois.
