Korki Buchek is briefly mentioned in the 2006 film Borat, but we learn of him (and briefly see him) in a few appearances on Da Ali G Show. In a later book, it is mentioned that he released nearly 5,000 Albums, with some of them being western rip-offs where he simply put his name on it and appropriated as his own. In Borat's film, he briefly sings Korki’s biggest hit, "Bing Bang," which was on the Kazakh charts for 14 years.
