Jack Rollins/Pastor John

Jack Rollins/Pastor John
  • Contest: 2023 Fictitious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame -- Round 1
  • One of the most ambitious films of 2017 was "I'm Not There," a Bob Dylan biopic that had multiple people portray Dylan, through different periods of his life, although none of the Dylans actually were named Bob Dylan. Hence, it was more existential and inspired by his life.

A character (or a Dylan) in the film was Jack Rollins (Christian Bale), which was inspired by Dylan's rise in Greenwich Village in the early 1960s. Rollins would later be seen a decade later as "Pastor John," where he sings gospel music.
  • TV Show/Movie Appeared: I’m Not There (2007)

  • Why you should vote:: It is Christian Bale, one of the greatest actors of our time.
  • Why you should not vote:: There were other “Dylans” we liked better.
