Inspired by Brian Wilson, who famously became a recluse after showcasing his brilliance, Desmond Howl was a famous rock star who retreated from the spotlight following the death of his brother. He still makes music, but as the name suggests, he composes music for the whales that live in the ocean near his home. While the premise may seem a little strange, this movie was actually pretty good.
