Playing off the real band, Corrosion of Conformity, Crisis of Conformity appeared once on Saturday Night Live where the band who is now middle-aged reunited to play the lead singer’s daughter’s wedding. The group comprised an all-star group of Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Ashton Kutcher, and Dave Grohl, but this was only seen once.

However,

Armisen put together a single (Fist Fight) in the real world, which he has actually played. He described the project as a love letter to the Washington D.C. punk scene that he grew up admiring.
