Clearly inspired by what transpired with Journey, Sungazer is a Classic Rock band in need of a new lead singer after their former one after theirs died of auto erotic asphyxiation. The band turns to Springfield as Covercraft lead singer, Apu Nahasepeemapetlon is needed to take over for their “Last Final Hell Re-Freezes Over Ultimate Goodbye for Serious This Time Never Again Part Two of ??? Tour”. The rest of the band (if you care) comprises Freddy Freeman, Shredder Stevens, Nick Delacourt and Peter D’Abbruzio. For what it is worth, Matthew Sweet wrote Sungazer’s hit, “Hopin for a Dream”.
