Come on, Jann Wenner. Get your head out of your bum and get Tull in the HoF.

The problem with this band is that is has too many ex-members. The original line-up did not last long, while choosing the line up of Ian's friends (Evans, Hammond. Barlow, Barre) to be inducted will have the others have hurt feelings.

Let me see if i have this straight? RunDMC and Grandmaster Flash are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Jethro Tull isn't? Are they insane? What a joke the RRHOF is! Its an insult to Rock & Roll and for this reason I will never visit there. Even if Jethro Tull is inducted today I will never take that place seriously.

[quote name="Scott Matheson"]Tu ll are one of THE great bands of the late 60s and 1970s and the fact they are NOT in the RRHF is pathetic. Their first 3 albums alone put them right at the top of my list. Unbelievable.[/quote

I agree 100 per cent and could not have said it any better.Thank s Scott.

Jethro Tull belong in the Hall right now. What a unique band putting the flute in rock music. Not many before them had the guts to do that. It almost sounds like career suicide and yet they did it.LIVING IN THE PAST is one of the most iconic songs in all of rock history. This is what makes rock music the greatest thing in the world. THERE ARE NO RULES IN ROCK MUSIC.Put them in now.PLEASE.

Does anyone know the guitar lead in riff to Aqualung? Give me a break.Making up for past Grammy sins? Crest of a Knave deserved something, not best heavy metal.Thick as a Brick was a 1 song joke on everyone especially high winded bands like The Moody Blues and Yes..How long was Thick as a Brick #1 on the charts? Should tell u the popularity of Tull while they continue to be classic rock mainstream

Folks, let me get this straight. Tull had enough credibility built up over their career, innovations and accomplishme nts to win a Grammy they probably shouldn't have but can't get nominated into the Hall...really?
Let's all do that collective head shake, shall we.

They need to turn the voting back on , til they get in ! What a Shame on Hall of Fame , also not inducting The Moody Blues and YES also ! All are approaching 50 years on the road & recording , a real travesty of Not recognizing 3 Great R&R groups ! Moodies have a Facebook Page , not sure about Tull & YES !
