265. Alexei Zhamnov

Alexei Zhamnov was a product of the Soviet Union and the Moscow Dynamo, and unlike many of his older peers, he was able to enter the National Hockey League early in his playing career.

205. Glen Wesley

Glen Wesley was a veteran of 20 years in the National Hockey League and, with 1,457 Games Played, is one of only a handful of players who tallied that many shifts and is not in the Hall of Fame.

226. Ulf Samuelsson

The possessor of one of the coolest Scandinavian names in sports history, Ulf Samuelsson played 1,080 Games in the National Hockey League and was known for his hard hits and defensive play.  Samuelsson may never have been an All-Star, but he was one of the better blueliners in his day, and he played many times internationally for Sweden.

172. Tomas Sandstrom

While many can’t envision the idea of a Scandinavian power forward, that was an excellent way to describe what Sweden’s Tomas Sandstrom was.
