Ja Rule

Although Ja Rule was one of the most successful Rappers in terms of sales in the first half of the 00’s, he is probably best known for the feuds he has had with Hip Hop stars of even greater stature (and we aren’t just making a pun about his height). As long as this stays the case, and until the first thing you think of with Ja Rule is his music, his Hall of Fame possibilities continues to shrink.

Hot Rod Circuit

Another Emo band that had more critical respect than the ones that made it big, Hot Rod Circuit may have also been a lyrically more sophisticated than their peers. With that said, there is a chance that a group labeled as Emo will get into the Hall, but that band will be more commercially successful than Hot Rod Circuit.

Godsmack

Another excellent Heavy Metal band, Godsmack may draw more from Grunge than from the Metal superstars of the decade prior. Appealing to straight up Metal fans and Alternative connoisseurs, the Boston based group has carved out a very successful career for themselves and if the Hall ever truly decided to recognize the Metal genre, they would one day have a decent shot for induction.

462. Feist

We suspect that there is a lot more to the story of Leslie Feist to be written, and should that follow the current path, she might make the Hall of Fame. Of course, our guess is the Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the not the more popular one. Kidding aside, along with Broken Social Scene, Feist is a very respected Adult Alternative musician and a lot better than the 1234 song that Apple made famous.
