Martin St. Louis

Considering that he was undersized and undrafted, the fact that Martin St. Louis had a career in the NHL was a surprise.  Considering that he became a superstar was an absolute shock.

Martin Brodeur

Martin Brodeur is going to enter the Hockey Hall of Fame on his first try.

There should be no doubt about this, nor will there be any relevant debate on this subject.

168. Lubomir Visnovsky

A very good defenseman from Slovakia, Lubomir Visnovsky has showcased offensive flash, though not many people outside of his markets appeared to be aware. Visnovsky finished 5 points shy of 500, still a good number for a defenseman but that number and only one All-Star appearance isn’t likely to get him enshrined.

145. Kimmo Timonen

One of the more successful Finnish players in professional hockey history, Kimmo Timonen is one of the few players in the National Hockey League to accrue over 1,100 Games.  A Stay-at-home blueliner, Timonen represented Finland Internationally multiple times which resulted in four Olympic medals.  Timonen is also a Stanley Cup Champion, which occurred in his final pro game with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2015.  Not a bad way to finish a professional hockey career.
