Archibald wasn't the same player, but he would reinvent himself more in the traditional Point Guard role, and he would make his fourth, fifth, and sixth All-Star Games, with the fifth seeing him earn All-Star Game MVP honors. He would also be named a Second Team All-NBA Selection in 1981, the same year that he would win his only NBA Championship.
Overall, Archibald would average 12.5 Points and 7.1 Assists per Game as a Celtic.
While this rank might seem low, it is hard to put a player, regardless of his All-Star appearances, any higher than one who has a negative VORP. Basically, that implies they would have done even better with most NBA Point Guards. This is a fact that matters on our basketball lists.
Archibald would be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
