Although they are a Pop/Punk band, it was an acoustic song that placed them on the top of the world with their smash hit, “Hey There Delilah”. The band did have other minor hits, but for the most part, they are known for that one single. It is hard to imagine a band known primarily for only one song; especially one that isn’t exactly indicative of their overall body of work.

With a huge body of work of Pop songs that scream of female empowerment, Pink may have actually been at her best when she was not as manufactured and embraced her R&B beginnings or forayed into Rock styles. With a lot more work left in her, she is on the outside track for a Hall slot but a lot will depend on what directions her progression takes her too.

Although his career seems to have subsided in recent years, Nelly has the perfect mixture of Pop and Rap in the first half of the 00’s and was a major star. With a slew of hits and a high profile, he did not exactly keep it up, but there is still time for the young Rapper to re-emerge with International success again.

Although Mudvayne has dispensed with the makeup and gimmickry that first brought them attention, the band has a lot working against them for Hall of Fame contention. First off, Metal bands struggle to make the Hall, and second, Mudvayne has been in the shadow of other Metal bands. Throw in the fact that this band is far from the most respected band amongst the critics shows that Mudvayne as a long road ahead of them if they wish for immortality in Cleveland.
