The people who hate the Canadian band are numerous and they are about as critically despised as it gets. Yet they sell millions of records and fill arenas through a passionate fan base. Somewhere in between is where we could categorize them.

An Instrumental band from Scotland, Mogwai challenged the rules of success of traditional Rock and reset the rules for others to follow.
