From the Stephen King film, turned TV Mini-Series, The Stand, we have Larry Underwood who was on the verge of a top ten hit before the apocalypse. We only got snippets of his song, (and a brief cover by Mr. Hand) in the Mini-Series, but despite the hell around him, we could always count on Larry Underwood playing that guitar. He even took it with him when he was set to meet his impending doom! The Bullet Points: TV Movie Appeared: The Stand (1994) Actor: Adam Storke Songs you might remember: Baby, Can You Dig Your Man? Why you should vote for him: Only for a bit of Stephen King peripheral love. Why you should not vote for him: Being a musician did nothing to advance the plot.

You will have to accept our apology but we are absolute marks for anything Wonder Woman. As such, we have another entry from the show with Lane Kinkaid, played by then teen heartthrob and future cautionary tale, Leif Garrett. Here he played…what else, a teen heartthrob singer, though this one had an evil twin which meant we had twice as much Leif. If this isn’t the cheesiest entry on the ballot, it at least makes the top ten. The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: Wonder Woman (1977) Actor: Leif Garrett Songs you might remember: None Why you should vote for him: There is no way possible that we are the only ones seduced by the affect of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman! Why you should not vote for him: We grant that the above statement should have no bearing on voting for this. {youtube}

From the underappreciated concept album (The Turtles present the Battle of the Bands) by the Turtles we have an albums where different “bands” appeared. This allowed the group to not only stretch their skills musically, as each “band” had a completely different sound and also showcase their humor. As mentioned, we did like this album, but we can’t say that “Oh Daddy!” by the L.A. Bust ’66 was one that really stood out in our minds. Still, this album could surprise us in regards to support, so we are looking forward to see what happens with all of the entries from the Turtles. The Bullet Points: Album Appeared: The Turtles present the Battle of the Bands (1968) Actors/Performers: The Turtles Songs you might remember: Oh Daddy! Why you should vote for them: Only as a fan of the Turtles should this seriously be considered. Why you should not vote for them: We aren’t sure ourselves if the Turtles billing themselves under another name for one song only should even count.

From the spectacular HBO Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, we have a Gangster Rapper who dated Wanda Sykes’ character and of course briefly befriends Larry David. The interaction between the two is expected hilarity, though we don’t exactly learn much about Krazee’s rap career. The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: Curb Your Enthusiasm (2002) Actor: Chris Williams Songs you might remember: None Why you should vote for him: We don’t think there is anyone else from this gem of a show. Why you should not vote for him: Was this even in the top 10 of fringe characters on this show?
