50. Buddy Young

Perhaps we are letting sentiment get in the way here, but Buddy Young was a major part of the early history of the Colts franchise. Young was already with the New York Yankees of the All-America Football Conference where he was one of the first African-Americans to play Professional Football. Following the folding of the Yankees, he went to the New York Yanks of the National Football League, which as we know from the Colts murky early history, becoming the Dallas Texans and then the Baltimore Colts in 1953.
