Regular visitors of Notinhalloffame.com know that we are slowly working on the top 50 of every major team in the NHL, NBA, NFL, and MLB. Once that is done, we will examine how each team honors its past players, coaches, and executives. As such, it is important to us that the Philadelphia Eagles will be inducting LeSean Jackson into their franchise Hall of Fame.

The event will officially occur on November 3, when the Eagles host the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Playing for the Eagles from 2009 to 2014, the Running Back rushed for 6,792 Yards, caught 300 Receptions for 2,282 Yards, and had 54 Touchdowns from Scrimmage.  A two-time First Team All-Pro, McCoy led the NFL in Rushing Yards (1,607) in 2013 and Rushing Touchdowns (17) in 2011.  He would later play for Buffalo (2015-18), and won Super Bowls with Kansas City (2019) and Tampa Bay (2020) to close off his career.

1966 PRELIMINARY RESULTS:

Thank you to all who participated in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Revisited Project. If you are still determining what that is, we acted like the PFHOF had its first class in January 1946.

We have completed the first 18 years thus far.

For “1966,” a Preliminary Vote with close to 100 players whose playing career ended by 1959. We are also following the structure in that players have 20 years of eligibility, and if they do not make it into the Hall, they are relegated to the Senior Pool.

Each voter was asked to select 25 names from the preliminary list, and the top 25 vote-getters were named Semi-Finalists.

A week later, the voters will be asked to pick 15 names from the 25 Semi-Finalists, and next after, they will pick five from the remaining 15. We will continue this process weekly until we catch up to the current year.

Please note that a significant change occurred “years ago,” allowing voters to submit less than the allotted spots.

Standing at 6'5” and 330 pounds, Penei Sewell can state that going into 2025, he is the most athletic and explosive Tackle in the game of football.  One of the rare Linemen that is dominant on the run and pass, his power and speed have made him and many around him All-Pros.  Only a five-year veteran, Sewell has already been named a First Team All-Pro three times, with a four-year Pro Bowl streak.  Who is to say he can't do the same think in the next five years?

Valeri Nichuskin was a bust with the Dallas Stars, who bought out his contract after the 2018-19 Season.  The Colorado Avalanche signed the Russian Right Wing, who became a solid two-way NHL player.

Nichuskin’s offense would finally kick in, with his first 20-Goal year in 2021/22, and the former Stars’ castoff helped the Avalanche win the Stanley Cup.  Thus far, with Colorado, Nichuskin has scored 234 Points in six seasons, and he is still in his prime.

What a pick-up he became!
