Although Perry Farrell has a major claim for the Hall of Fame with Jane’s Addiction, his work with his second major band, Porno for Pyros should not go unnoticed. Porno for Pyros followed the same path, although was a little disjointed at times. Farrell’s best Hall of Fame chance lies with Jane’s Addiction, as it should. 

A band that seemed to know no real boundaries, Luscious Jackson was a eclectic blend of Alt Rock and New Bohemia. With a name inspired by a former basketball player (which we love by the way), the band were underground darlings in New York and though they never made the mainstream, we doubt they wanted it anyway.  

Another of the modern Country stars to enter our Future Candidates List, Kenny Chesney may have had a plethora of top hits on the Country charts and though a few charted on the low end of the Mainstream lists, Chesney is a solid candidate for the Country Music Hall of Fame and highly unlikely to get a sniff at Cleveland. 

Frank Black is worthy of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Pixies, and while they are not yet (as of this writing anyway) in the Hall, there is an excellent shot.  As for the solo career of Frank Black, it may have yielded equal acclaim as his former band but commercially and influentially speaking it did not.  Still, we can’t help but find a spot for him on this list.
