In the atrocious film, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Aerosmith was cast as the bad guys in the film. It does not matter what their mantra was, or what their role was, as they were fortunate enough to avoid the shrapnel of this schlock. Incidentally, KISS was originally asked to play this band, but starred in their own film, “KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park”, which actually was even a worse choice than this. Still, this is Aerosmith, and we don’t have a lot of actual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees on the ballot. Is that worth something here? The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (1978) Actors: Aerosmith Songs you might remember: Come Together Why you should vote for them: Aerosmith are Rock and Roll icons. Why you should not vote for them: This movie was crap. {youtube}

He was only on screen for a few minutes but on this Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, we have a nominee in Fulla T, who was gunned down in a lobby of a Hip Hop radio station. So why are we nominating him? Because this is played by Rap Legend, Fab Five Freddy, that’s why! The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2007) Actor: Fab Five Freddy Songs you might remember: None Why you should vote for him: Well…you might love Grandmaster Flash and Law and Order SVU…like the owners of this website. Why you should not vote for him: A few minutes on an SVU episode should not a Hall of Fame career make.

We never saw the entire Russian band, Fuck Your Yankee Blue Jeans, with the exception of their lead singer; who happened to be the cousin of Jay of the View Askew Universe. He gave us a brief version of his song, Berseker, with the following lyrics: “MY LOVE FOR YOU IS LIKE A TRUCK BERSERKER!
WOULD YOU LIKE SOME MAKING FUCK? BERSERKER! This might be why we like Russian Metal…Thanks, Cousin Olaf. The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: Clerks (1994) Actor: Olaf Oleeson (John Henry Westhead) Songs you might remember: Berserker Why you should vote for them: The Jay and Silent Bob army have a huge opportunity here. Before Jared Leto entered into a fruitless Rock career, he “led” a band in the brief but much acclaimed TV show, “My So Called Life”. We can’t say that we remember a lot about the program, but we don’t recall much about Leto’s actual band (30 Seconds to Mars) either. The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: My So Called Life (1994) Actor: Jared Leto (Jordan Catalano) And we have no idea who else in this group. Songs you might remember: None Why you should vote for them: We are going to go with the critical acclaim reason for this one. Why you should not vote for them: Leto is on the strange side, and the band had little play in the show. {youtube}
