A nine-year NHL veteran, Czech Defenseman Frantisek Kaberle played five of them with the Atlanta Thrashers.

A member of the Toronto Maple Leafs for most of his career, Nik Antropov spent his last four NHL seasons with the Thrashers/Jets.

While Andy Sutton was always known for his defensive skills (he was a Defenceman after all), it was in Atlanta where he put his best numbers offensively with three straight seasons with 20 Points, while even exceeding his blue line metrics.  He scored 87 Points as a Thrasher.

The third overall draft pick from 2008, Zack Bogosian, would suit up for the Thrashers on opening night shortly after his 18th birthday.  The American Defenseman has been regarded for his physical style of play, who was usually amongst the leaders in hits for his team.
