Frank Cope was a member of the 1930's All-Decade Team, although most of his career took place in the 1940s.

Houston Antwine eschewed the Detroit Lions of the NFL for the Boston Patriots of the AFL, which appeared by all counts to be the correct decision. 

John Niland won the starting job at Left Guard for good in his second season in the NFL (1967) with the Dallas Cowboys, and would then go on to stake a claim as one of the elite Offensive Guards in the National Football League.  Niland would be named to the next six Pro Bowls and landed a pair of First Team All-Pros in the process (1971 & 1972).  The former Iowa Hawkeye would win a Super Bowl with the Cowboys in Super Bowl VI, and his upper-echelon blocking played a large part in that historic championship.

A First Round Pick from Stanford in 1969, Gene Washington was part of the turnaround for the San Francisco 49ers from league doormats to respectability.  In his first four seasons in the National Football League, Washington would go to the Pro Bowl, with three of those years seeing him earn First Team All-Pro accolades.
