219. Brook Benton

With a resume of over forty five top one hundred Billboard hits; you would think that Brook Benton would have been the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by now. The truth is, Benton has yet to even receive a nomination as of yet and be the first to show exceptional success yet befuddle the Hall as to whether he his Rock and Roll worthy.

322. The Cramps

Many artists in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame received their induction into the Hall for creating or popularizing a genre or subgenre. Depending on whom you ask, the Cramps creating their own genre just by merging two radically different ones.

412. The Pretty Things

The British Invasion has seen its share of bands that shot to stardom in North America. Many of those bands rightfully became stars, and others became famous despite a perceived lack of talent. In retrospect no British Invasion band probably should have made it big but failed more than the Pretty Things.

147. Ry Cooder

Even though it is a building that we have spent a lot of our time focusing on, we admit that we sometimes forget about the sidemen wing of the Hall. Having said that, we looked at the career of Ry Cooder, who we feel may have a Hall of Fame worthy career; though in which wing he belongs to throws us off a bit.
