Knives Chau was Asian. We know this because her one-time boyfriend, Scott Pilgrim, seemed to belabor that point often. Pilgrim dumped her so that he could chase Ramona Flowers, but Knives was somewhat obsessed with Scott (why we don't really know), and that is how she spent most of the film. Damn, she deserved better, didn't she?
