In the 1984 cult film, Streets of Fire, Billy Fish (Rick Moranis) was the manager and boyfriend of Ellen Aim, the sultry siren of a singer who was kidnapped by a biker game named The Bombers. For $10,000, he hired her ex-boyfriend (played by Michael Pare) to free Ellen, but this nerdlinger was clearly in over his head in every way.
Of course, in the mid-'80s, no woman alive was going to pick Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors over Eddie Wilson despite what the bank account might have stated.
