Carlos Correa was the first overall draft pick in 2012 and he would do exactly what you want from someone drafted in that spot when they debut in the Majors; he won the Rookie of the Year.  Correa had 22 Home Runs as a rookie, and in the two seasons that followed would again hit 20 dingers with a Batting Average over .275.  Correa had a monster season 2017 where he was an All-Star, batted .315, and finished 17^th in MVP voting.  He was also an integral part of the Astros first World Series Championship that year.

George Springer had a nice rookie season in 2014 with 20 Home Runs and it didn’t take long for him to become one of the Astros’ top players. 

Vontae Davis was a late 1^st Round Pick from the University of Illinois where as a Miami Dolphin he would be named to the All-Rookie Team.  He did well in his three years in Miami and would do better in Indianapolis where he was a two time Pro Bowl Selection (2014 & 2015) and was in that second tier of Corners.

From Eastern Michigan and the underappreciated Mid American Conference, T.J. Lang continued to play professionally in his region of sorts when he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2009 and played a minimal role as a reserve that would win Super Bowl XLV.  Lang would become a starter bouncing between Left Guard and Right Tackle over the next two seasons until he was moved to Right Guard for good in 2013.  Lang was a Pro Bowl Selection in 2016 in his last year in Green Bay and he would sign with his home state Detroit Lions and would be a Pro Bowler for the second straight year.  He retired after the 2018 Season.
