Joe Thuney is finally getting his due as one of the top pass protectors in football, and you can ask both Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes how good he is at it.  Thuney has been a starter in four Super Bowl Championships (two for New England and two for Kansas City) and has been a Pro Bowl Selection his last two years.

Last year, Trai Turner signed with the New Orleans Saints, but a torn quad kept him from playing a down in the Bayou.  This year, Turner begins the season looking for an opportunity, and unless he finds one, he will have to hang his helmet on his five straight Pro Bowls with the Carolina Panthers (2015-19). 

At only 30, a team might take a chance on Turner.

Brown enters the season as a Free Agent, and if his career has come to an end, has he done enough to become a Hall of Fame inductee?

He likely hasn’t, bit leaves behind 220 Games Played (218 Starts) and should be acknowledged in any Houston Texans Hall of Fame.  He could still find work in 2024 as a veteran presence on a contending team.

Landry has been named to the Pro Bowl five years straight (2015-19) but in that half-decade, the Wide Receiver was never considered the top shelf of wideouts.  Regardless of that fact, Landry led the NFL in Receptions in 2017 (112), but the window of where he might be able to enter the top level may have passed him by.  Landry did not have a good year in 2022 with the Saints, and is currently seeking work, which he was unable to obtain in 2023.  This may be the body of work we have to use for the Hall, and the stats are overall good, but not good enough.
