The Carrie Nations

Carrie Nations The
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls may be the ultimate early 70’s guilty pleasure film because as much as it was god awful, you couldn’t turn away. The focal point of the film was the band, “The Carrie Nations”, whose music was as bleak as it was bad, but again, you couldn’t help but watch. Whether or not this makes them a serious contender is in doubt, but nostalgia is on their side.
