In 2011-12, Neal not only made the All-Star Game, but the Left Wing was named a First Team All-Star. He would have 40 Goals, which was good enough for fourth in the league, and his 18 Power Play Goals were league leading. He would have 81 Points overall, a number that placed his seventh. In the lockout shortened season that followed, Neal had 21 Goals, which had him tenth overall. Neal played one more year for the Penguins with a 61 Point year.
Neal would be traded to the Nashville Predators, and his overall run with the Penguins saw him score 184 Points in 199 Games.
