From the film adaptation of Josie and the Pussycats, Wyatt Frame worked for Megarecords, where he signed young bands though not necessarily for the purpose of making them stars, but once they did so, exploited their music by putting in subliminal messages in the songs with the intention of selling products. Frame (Alan Cumming) would off a group after they figured it out, but it unraveled after signing Josie and the Pussycats. As it turns out, he was an albino with a potbelly. That last sentence is correct, by the way.
