From the 1982 film, Smithereens we have the lead character named Wren (we love that name by the way) who ran away from her home in New Jersey to join the punk scene in New York City. She would meet Eric, the former lead singer of the one-hit wonder punk band Smithereens, who would take her to Los Angeles, which was where the real punk scene was. Without spoiling it, let's just say that it didn't end well for the punk chick wannabe.
