From Beyond the Valley the Dolls, we have Ronnie “Z-Man” Barzell, the eccentric and flamboyant rock manager who takes over the Kelly Band and renames them the Carrie Nations. He is connected but strange and certainly takes them to new heights but it is revealed that he is transgender and upon the reveal (or rather the rebuff when he comes on to a gigolo at a party) he goes into a Manson inspired killing spree which included members of his own bands as victims. It is quite a performance, though undoubtedly transphobic, and it doesn't age particularly well.
