Before she was Bridget Jones, Renee Zellweger was often confused with Joey Lauren Adams as both were blonde, cute, and had a high yet slightly raspy voice. One of those roles was as the very promiscuous Gina, an employee of Empire Records who slept with Rex Manning and probably any other singers who showed up at the store for an autograph signing. Fun fact is that this was the film where she first sang and not Chicago.
