In “That Thing You Do!” Faye Dolan was the girlfriend you wanted (unless you were the lead singer of The Wonders), and not just in 1964. Sweet, cute, and innocently sexy, Dolan (Liv Tyler) was incredibly supportive of her man and his projects and was no Yoko Ono. Well, maybe in a bit because didn't her love sort of break-up the band? She toured with the Wonders not just as a girlfriend but also as the group's "Costume Mistress." Yeah, we didn't know that was a title either.
