Before there was WKRP in Cincinnati, there was FM, which gave us an interesting look at the radio business in the late 1970s. One of those characters is "Doc" Holiday (Alex Karras), the less than successful midday DJ who was fired from the station due to low ratings. As for us, we would not have had the guts to fire Mongo.
