One of the first real sales we see of Herb Tarlek was when he arranged a remote at Del’s Stereo Sound. Like many things the radio station touched, this was a flop, and Del Murdock (the owner of Del’s Stereo Sound) would see no customers and much of his equipment destroyed. He did blow us away with an excellent promo as to why you should get your butts down to his establishment…too bad nobody in Cincinnati was listening.
Interestingly enough, Hamilton Camp (who played Del) returned in a future episode to marry Johnny's ex-wife.
