Modeled after Berry Gordy Jr, the owner of Motown, we have Curtis Taylor Jr. (Jamie Foxx), who would become the manager of the Dreams. Through nefarious means, he would take the group straight to the top and would marry the groups' lead singer. Taylor Jr. would found Rainbow Records and become a musical mogul, but he abused his power along the way.
