As Cookie Lyon, the matriarch of the Lyon family, flexed her acting chops and really dug her claws into the character. It is a modern day Joan Collins in Dynasty, the bitch with a heart of gold, who is as sexy as she is smart.
Cookie went to jail to protect her husband, Lucious Lyon and came out guns blazing to gain the empire she felt wrongly ditched from. As this is essentially a nighttime soap opera, the means in which she used were nefarious, to say the least, but would we have it any other way?
