Played by the writer of the show, Bill Dial, Bucky Dornster was a sound engineer who was only in two episodes. The first time we saw him, he broke stereo equipment at a live remote and walked away from a gun to his head (literally) so that he could have his lunch. Union rules, you know!
The second time we saw him was at a softball game where he was drunk (yet still a capable player) when W.K.R.P. went against the rival radio station, W.P.I.G.
