What was harder? Is it being the manager of the equally drunk and talented Jackson Maine or being his older half-brother? Both appeared to be similarly difficult for Bobby Maine (Sam Elliott), but he did the best he could with what he had to work with. Bobby would eventually get fired after he sold the family farm when Jackson claimed he didn't tell him about it. He did, but Jackson was too drunk to notice.
Seriously though, what level of intoxication must you be in when you can’t recall everything from the voice of Sam Elliott?
