What do you do when you are an out of work Disc Jockey looking for work? You hijack a remote so that you can show what you are capable of. This seemingly random event is what Bob Burnat did as he was unable to find work anywhere, including W.K.R.P. He certainly had the voice for radio (and honestly the face for it), and he probably was a decent DJ from the little we heard of him. As for what happened to him after the hijack, we don't know as we suspect he was never caught most likely due to the horrible description by Dr. Johnny Fever, who likened him to Richard Nixon.
