Bill Cobbs is one of those actors whose name you can't place, but you know you have seen him many times before. In "The Bodyguard," he portrays Bill Devaney, the manager of Rachel Marron (Whitney Houston), who is presented as the most prominent musical star in the world. Devaney worries about her safety and hires an expert bodyguard (Kevin Costner) for her. Had this movie been titled "The Manager," maybe he would have a better chance for our Hall of Fame.
