2022 Fictitious Rock and Roll Contributors -- Round 1

Bailey Quarters

Bailey Quarters
  • Contest: 2022 Fictitious Rock and Roll Contributors -- Round 1
  • From W.K.R.P. in Cincinnati, Bailey Quarters had the most growth in terms of her character. When we first meet her, she was little more than a copy editor who was afraid of her own shadow. She would slowly develop into an activist for causes such as women's rights (and the building that housed the radio station), and she would have an on again off again relationship with DJ, Dr. Johnny Fever. Quarters was an intelligent woman and sexy in her own way, an interesting counter to the station's receptionist, Jennifer Marlowe. You always wondered if Bailey would outgrow the station, and sure enough, she did as we learned from the New W.K.R.P. in Cincinnati that Quarters would later become the Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
