One of the most beloved and quotable men on the PGA Tour, Sam Snead, was world-renowned for his sweet swing, straw hat, and longevity.

Snead captured 82 PGA Tour wins over his career, which as of this writing, is tied for the all-time lead with Tiger Woods. Snead played so long and was so good that he became the first golfer to win a sanctioned event in six different decades and the first to win a PGA event in four different decades.
