  • Dan Marino may have never won a Super Bowl, but is there any doubt that he was not one of the best quarterbacks of all-time?



    Out of the University of Pittsburgh, Marino played his entire pro career with the Miami Dolphins, where he took the quarterback position to a new level. Marino propelled Miami to a Super Bowl appearance early in his career, and he was the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 5,000 yards in a season.



    Marino was not a mobile passer, but his quick delivery and cerebral nature in the pocket carried Miami teams deeper than they had any right to be. He was one of the best passers in the 1980s and 1990s, and his influence on other quarterbacks will remain for years.
