The Undertaker came a long way from being just another big man in WCW. Upon entering the World Wrestling Federation, Callaway was dubbed the Undertaker, and created the most durable character in WWE history. Regardless of the era, the Undertaker was at the top of the card and changed with the times. He created multi dimensional layers to a character that did not seem capable of having them. He emerged as the locker room leader and among being one of the most decorated professional wrestlers in history he is also among the most respected.
He would win many titles in the WWE, but he was one of those rare performers who never needed one. Taker’s character had supernatural powers, yet it never seemed hokey, an incredible testament to the believability that he was he able to exude. As he grew in the ring, he showcased a well-rounded skill set, and despite his high level of success he achieved, it can be argued that he was actually underrated as a worker.
The induction of the Undertaker to the WWE Hall of Fame should be a no-brainer. It is just a matter of time.
