Goldham was dedicated to the defensive side of hockey, so much so that he was nicknamed the "Second Goalie" for his penchant for blocking shots. The Defenseman didn't score much, nor did he playmake, but the Red Wings had plenty of players who could do that, so he stuck to what he did best. Goldham would contribute to three Stanley Cup wins, and he was twice the league-leader in Defensive Point Shares.
He would only score 103 Points for Detroit, but the amount he prevented is incalculable.
