The Left Wing had 37 Points as a rookie and shot that total up to 80 with 38 Goals as an NHL sophomore. Andreychuk was a consistent performer with five 70-plus years in the 1980s, with his 40-Goal campaign coming in 1989-90. In 1991-92, Andreychuk cracked the 90 Point mark for the first time, and his 28 Power Play Goals were NHL leading.
Andreychuk might have been at the top of his game, but the Sabres dealt him to the surging Toronto Maple Leafs for Goalie Grant Fuhr. That year in his split season, he again led the NHL in Power Play Goals (32), with 20 of them as a Sabre.
He returned briefly as a Free Agent where he played for another year before signing with the Lightning, where late in his career, he won a Stanley Cup with them in 2004.
With Buffalo, Andreychuk had 804 Points, with 368 Goals, 161 coming off the Power Play.
Andreychuk entered the Sabres Hall of Fame in 2009 and the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2017.
