Arriving in North Florida as the 34th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Cam Robinson brought serious SEC pedigree to Jacksonville following an award-winning run at Alabama that featured a national title, the Outland Trophy, and unanimous All-American honors. The massive 6-foot-6, 335-pound lineman immediately seized the starting left tackle job in training camp, stepping in as a rookie to protect Blake Bortles' blindside for 15 games during Jacksonville's 2017 run to the AFC Championship Game.

Robinson built a reputation as a heavy-handed, aggressive perimeter blocker who brought edge-setting muscle to the ground game. After an ACL tear limited his sophomore campaign in 2018 to just two starts, he bounced back to anchor the left edge with remarkable consistency, starting all 16 games in 2020 and establishing himself as an offensive leader across multiple coaching transitions.

His standing as a focal point of the front line was rewarded when Jacksonville placed the franchise tag on him in back-to-back offseasons (2021 and 2022) before signing him to a long-term extension. Robinson served as a crucial pass protector during Trevor Lawrence’s early development, starting 14 games in 2022 to help propel the team to an AFC South title and a thrilling wild-card comeback victory over the Chargers.

As Jacksonville shifted to younger offensive talent in 2024, it traded the veteran tackle to Minnesota in October, ending his eight-year North Florida tenure. He later played in Cleveland and Houston.  He started all 91 games he played as a Jaguar.
