Witten’s NFL career began in 2003 after being drafted in the 4th Round from Tennessee. He had a nice rookie season where he was named to the All-Rookie Team, but he broke out in 2004 with a 980 Yard year and was named to the Pro Bowl. That began a trend where from 2004 to 2014, he was named to the Pro Bowl each year with the exception of 2011. In all of those seasons, he had at least 700 Yards, and four of those years he would hit the 1,000 Yard mark, an incredible accomplishment for a Tight End. In both 2007 and 2010, Witten would be chosen as a First Team All-Pro, with Second Team All-Pros coming his way in 2008 and 2012.
Witten retired after 2017, but came back in 2019, where he played one more year before signing with the Las Vegas Raiders for a final season
At present, he is the all-time franchise leader in Receptions (1,215) and Receiving Yards (12,977).
