12. Zach LaVine

Arriving as part of a blockbuster trade that sent Jimmy Butler to Minnesota, Zack LaVine became a scoring star in Chicago, though many basketball pundits believed that would transpire.

The Shooting Guard only played 24 Games in 2017-18 as he was recovering from a torn ACL.  He averaged 16.7 Points in his return, which was significantly increased to 23.7 Points in 2018-19 with an 18.7 PER.

Now the number one option on the Bulls, LaVine had very good numbers in PER (19.4) and Points per Game (25.5) in 2019-20, which he grew to 21.5 and 27.4, respectively, the year after.  For his efforts, LaVine went to his first All-Star Game.  In 2021-22, with the surprise play of DeMar DeRozan, LaVine's offensive numbers slipped (24.4 PPG), but he was still an All-Star, and though he was not chosen in 2022-23, he still had another strong campaign, averaging over 24 Points per Game.  Unfortunately, Lavine was injured for most of 2023-24, though still averaged nearly 20 Points per Game in the limited time he played.  The Bulls, however, regressed, and they elected to trade him to the Sacramento Kings in February of 2025.

Over his eight seasons with Chicago, LaVine averaged a healthy 24.2 Points per game
